BOUTIQUE – HOW DOES IT WORK?
There are several protocols for Boutique Whitening depending on the needs and wants of individuals. The initial clinical process is always the same regardless of the whitening protocol selected.
Full examination. Photographs with time stamp and shade tab.
Restore any exposed root dentine with composite or glass ionomer.
Use Sensodyne Toothpaste in the whitening trays overnight for 3 nights prior to whitening.
Brush with Boutique Biomin Toothpaste for 2 weeks prior, and throughout, the whitening process.
Select the correct gel by speaking with your patient to see what is best suited to their lifestyle.
Before placing the trays, the patient needs to make sure their teeth are completely dry.
Fully fill each dosing dot, place the trays in the mouth and gently prod each dot to disperse the gel over the tooth surface.
